Wednesday, June 27 - DEPRESSION GLASS
Sue Hodgkins will talk about collecting Depression Glass, illustrating her talk with examples from her collection. People are encouraged to bring samples of Depression Glass for identification. 7:00 PM East Lamoine Meeting House.
Wednesday, July 25 - ANTIQUE APPLES OF MAINE
John Bunker, orchardist and researcher with FEDCO Trees and the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), will discuss the history of apples in Maine as well as his work discovering and propagating antique apple varieties, including Lamoine's Marlboro Apple. 7:00 East Lamoine Meeting House
Wednesday, August 15 - LAMOINE ARCHAEOLOGY
Spend an afternoon on the banks of the Jordan River at an archaeological dig which is the site of this year's Abbe Museum Field School. Museum staff will show us around and explain the significance of what they've found. Meet at the East Lamoine Meeting House at 12:45 to car pool to the site. Space is limited, so please pre-register for this program by calling 667-6564.
