(Lamoine) - We welcome Oliver James Brown Patricio of Shore
Road, born December 19, 2003 in Ellsworth. March was a busy month for the stork.
Catherine Suzanne Kelley of Old Schoolhouse Lane was born at Eastern
Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Liam Bird Stephenson of Woodcock
Lane, born on March 14th in Ellsworth. Logan Paul Willard of
Douglas Highway arrived the same day, in the same hospital.
We lost a pair of Lamoiners in the last quarter. Joseph Lear,
the town’s resident historian and cemetery expert, died following an illness
on January 21st. This year’s town report was dedicated to Joe and his
many contributions to Lamoine. We also received word from New York that Walter
Litten passed away this winter. He lived most of his life on his seashore
farm on Dean Lane and was a college professor and farmer.
One marriage in the quarter, and it came on Valentine’s Day. Michael
Damon and Ronda Reed were married in Tremont. The couple makes their
home on Mill Road.
