(Lamoine) — School starts before Labor Day this year—Wednesday September 1st to be precise. The school calendar is posted on the Internet in its entirety at www.lamoine-me.gov/school/schoolcal0405.htm. The calendar for 2004/05 has two snow days built in, with June 17, 2005 the last scheduled day for classes, provided there are no more than two snow days. Several teacher in-service days are scheduled throughout the year.
