DANCE – NO FOOLIN’ IT’S A PAJAMA PARTY!
· We are debating the date of the next and probably last dance for this
school year. Either March 26th or April 2nd. Pat Haugh has expressed interest
to our DJ of doing a dance/music event in Trenton in March. She was hoping for
March 19th but there is a Y dance that night. Angie spoke with DJ Bill Butler,
and he said we should offer the 26th to Pat, and WE should take April 2nd. Pat
– if you would like the 26th, please let Angie or Bill know ASAP so we
can set the date for OUR dance. We have also spoke about making it a “pajama
party”. We would have to be VERY CLEAR on the types of clothing allowed,
but think this would be a fun theme. More to come on the dance as soon as we
have the date set.
NOT discussed at the meeting, but I would like to add a REMINDER to keep sending
in BOXTOPS for EDUCATION with your kids! The next contest will end in March,
and the winning class will receive a BARBQUE! Keep your eyes on the Shaw’s
Circulars – From time to time, they have been having specials where you
can earn 20 bonus boxtops for buying participating products! ALSO – Keep
sending in your used name brand ink cartridges and old cell phones. We earn
cash for these items and it goes towards the playground fund. And while I’m
adding in reminders, don’t forget to go to www.schoolpop.com OR www.boxtops4education.com
BEFORE you do any online shopping!
NEXT MEETING SET FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10TH @ 6:30 We WILL need to coordinate
the town meeting needs via email and phone… so if you can help us…
LET US KNOW!!!
Meeting adjourned at 7:45pm
** I would also like to take a minute to THANK EVERYONE who has helped the PATRONS,
either by sending in your boxtops, shopping online, donating time or goods,
chaperoning at a dance, WHATEVER…. It all matters, and we APPRECIATE IT!!
The morning breakfast is a huge success, the kids have fun at the events we
put on, and to top it off, the money we raise ALL goes BACK into the school.
We just purchased a new TV and DVD/VCR combo for the music/art and kindergarten
rooms, and are funding a science project for Mrs. Duffy! We are hoping to give
the teachers a special gift this spring too! Thanks again for helping US to
help make this school the BEST it can be! J Angie Butler, President **
