Administrative Assistant's Report
For Special Meeting - July 30, 2015
Wow has it been busy in the office. Between sending out tax bills and filing tax liens and collecting taxes, we have been right out straight. Add paving to that, other committees meeting, and it’s been hard to catch a breath.
Thursday is going to be a very exciting day around here. The new rescue boat is due to arrive around mid-day, though it will be taken to Green Lake in Ellsworth for testing first.
Minutes – July 16, 2015 – I’ve not had a chance to write these up, but I hope to have them early next week.
Warrant 3 – This will be huge. The expected final accounts payable warrant for the school department will be on here, as will over $200,000 in paving costs. We will have to transfer a good chunk over from investments.
Cash & Budget Report – I will have reports for both FY 2015 and the current FY 2016 year in your packets for Thursday and link them on the website.
Liens – The liens are being filed on Monday the 27th. As of this writing, we have 78 properties going into lien with about $78,000 in unpaid 2014/15 taxes.
Code Enforcement Officer Interviews – We have two candidates for the job. Both should be here.
To appoint someone to the job, you will need to come out of executive session and take a vote.
If anything else urgent comes up, it can be dealt with at the end of the meeting. I’m not expecting anything.
