Publicity and PR
Carol needs videos for our YouTube Chanel. We need a person to coordinate videoing 150 events. Gordon will check with Stu to see if there’s someone on the town’s tech committee who would be interested.
The July Quarterly will have information about our logo reveal and a calendar of our first three months of events. (Gordon)
Cynthia and Miranda are working on postcards to be sent to everyone in Lamoine(900 mailboxes). They plan to send the first one out in June after the logo reveal. Each postcard will have Lamoine 150 events for the next three months and feature either the logo winner or one of the other logo entries. It was decided to order the postcards online.
We have several submissions. Jo will convene the judges by May 23 or 24 to make a decision. Miranda will post entries in a Facebook album. The winning logo will be revealed on Saturday, June 15 at noon. This will happen at the Town Hall with press invited. Miranda will send invitations to the participating artists. They do not have to be present. The logo winner will not be notified ahead of time. Carol and Miranda will not be able to attend as this is the last student day of school, and they have to work.
