	Lamoine Board of Assessors Minutes of September 2, 2009

The meeting was called to order by Chair Jane Fowler at 7:05 PM.

Present were: Assessors Jane Fowler, Terry Towne, Michael Jordan

Abatements : The Board unanimously approved abatements to reflect homestead exemptions for:

• William and Angie Butler (Map 18 Lot 10-9)
• William and Diane Carter (Map 8 Lot 2-A)

Corrections were made to the ownership of Map 10 Lot 1 (Derr, Higgins)

No action was taken regarding requests from Peter Hartline

Letters will be prepared in response for information from Jon E. VanAmringe, new owner of a portion of Map 1 Lot 32. A response will also be prepared to a letter received from Giunta & Chiasson, the attorney representing Richard and Sheryl Davis.

The tree growth taxation roster required by the Maine Department of Conservation was completed.

The next meeting will be October 7, 2009.
