	Lamoine Board of Assessors Minutes of February 3, 2010

Chair Jane Fowler called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM

Present were: Assessors Terry Towne, Michael Jordan, Jane Fowler; guests Barbara Davis, Teresa Davis, Gary Doll (Maine Coast Baptist Church), Harold Batson (Maine Coast Baptist Church).

Minutes – The minutes of January 6, 2010 and January 14, 2010 were approved as presented unanimously.

Board of Property Tax Review Hearing – Exhibit Exchange – The parties were unable to complete the exchange of exhibits in regard to State Board of Property Tax Review for The Barbara Davis case (2009-1) and the Maine Coast Baptist Church case (2009-2). The reason for the inability to exchange was that the petitioners were not prepared.

Abatement and Supplemental Tax Forms – Supplemental taxes for Steve Joy, Map 4 Lots 46 and 55 (several subdivision lots) were approved and signed by the board. A supplemental tax form to Bangor Hydro for Map 19 Lot 22 was approved and signed by the board.

Property Value – There was no discussion regarding the property value of Dorothy Spitzer, Map 14 Lot 51

Quarterly Review – The board discussed the 4 th quarterly review for the spring and the possible 3-way division of work/maps to be completed.

Submission – Map 8 Lot 1 – The board reviewed information submitted by Gerald & Iris Simon

Recording – The first 15 minutes of the meeting were recorded to preserve the discussion and exchanges in regard to the exhibit exchange.

The meeting recessed at 8:10 PM until Monday, February 8, 2010 at 7:00 PM
