	Lamoine Board of Assessors Minutes of February 1, 2012

The meeting came to order at 7:00 PM

Present were Assessors Terry Towne, Jane Fowler and Michael Jordan

Minutes of December 7, 2012 – Assessors initialed the minutes as distributed indicating approval.

Minutes of January 4, 2012 - Assessors initialed the minutes as distributed indicating approval.

Abatement Request – Paul & Lois Culler, Map 8 Lot 12-7 – Terry moved to deny the abatement request of Mr. & Mrs. Culler. Mike 2nd . Vote in favor was 3-0. A letter to the Cullers was prepared.

Tree Growth Information – M & M Davis – This item was tabled without dissent.

Meeting Schedule with Ed Bearor – The board discussed dates that they could meet with Attorney Ed Bearor prior to the Old Point, Inc. case before the State Property Tax Review Board. Jane will e-mail Mr. Bearor's secretary with potential dates.

Business Card – Mike moved to develop an Assessor's business card to leave at properties visited when no one is home. Terry 2nd . Vote in favor was 3-0.

Maine Townsman – All the Assessors said they would like to receive copies of the Townsman and will forward that request to Administrative Assistant Stu Marckoon.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:15 PM.
