Meeting Notes - September 29, 2011

The meeting came to order at 8:12 PM
Present were: Kimberly Grindle, Stu Marckoon, Bill Butler
- Programming Desires: Bill suggested some town image segments with video shots from around town and music from local artists. There was sentiment that the Apple computer needs to be used for editing. Stu suggested doing segments on various town services, such as recycling and solid waste. Stu noted Lamoine Community Arts has requested that its plays this fall be recorded. A crew will be needed to record the School Forum on October 20 th .
- Volunteer Recruitment: Bill said he is more available now that his college courses are done. Kim said she'll be available more after mid-October. Bill said he would discuss community service with Mr. James at the school and with Ben Speed at Hancock County Technical Center. Kim said she would talk with Rodney Verrill at New England School of Communications.
- Technical Needs: Kim will investigate video format converters for the Apple machine and a lavaliere microphone. Stu said a couple better desk mics could replace the Radio Shack mics in the meeting room.
- Next Meeting Date: There will be a meeting on November 9, 2011 at 6PM that will last no more than 1-hour as the Conservation Commission meets at 7PM that evening.
There being no further discussion, the meeting disbanded at 8:44 PM
