Guest speaker Marjorie Peronto, University of Maine Cooperative Extension Educator , has been invited to talk about conserving Maine 's native landscape and the plants to use and plants to avoid. The program is free and the public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.

The Lamoine Conservation Commission meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Town Hall and provides education about, and a forum to promote conservation in Lamoine. This program is one of several educational programs held throughout the year.
