	MINUTES OF THE LAMOINE LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE February 21, 2006

Chairman B. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:04pm

Members Present: D. Ford, M. Garrett, B. Jones, D. Macurdy, R. McDevitt, F. Stocking, J. Wuorinen, J. Young

Minutes of the December 20, 2005 meeting were accepted as presented.

OLD BUSINESS

LRPC Report on Fall 2005 Survey Results –

The order of business for the evening was to prepare the Survey Results Report for presentation to the Selectmen and to Town residents. In a page by page review, some minor alterations were made relating to specific wording and grammar.

M. Garrett the n made this motion: “Moved to accept the report as modified with thanks to the many contributors and special thanks to F. Stocking, Editor-In-Chief”. J. Wuorinen seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.

F. Stocking will prepare a final draft and ask S. Marckoon to make copies. F. Stocking will announce the report's availability at the Town Meeting on March 8, 2006

NEW BUSINESS

Where does the Committee Go From Here?

The Committee decided that the next meeting will be devoted to compiling and discussing reactions to the report following its distribution.

In addition, the Committee will determine where future attention might be directed.

The meeting adjourned at 7:28pm .
