The Lamoine Board of Selectmen formed a committee a few years ago to study the public safety needs and desires of the community. The committee is currently studying whether a volunteer police patrol is feasible for the town.
Committee members include Frank Murray, Jim Willis, Stacey Curtis, Grace Schimpf, Matt Montgomery, and Kim Murphy.
