The Lamoine Board of Selectmen acts as the municipal officers for the Town. They are in charge of personnel appointments, policies, and are ultimately responsible for the day to day operations of the town. There are five members serving three year, staggered terms. The Board has adopted procedural rules.

The Board employs an Administrative Assistant who prepares meeting agendas and carries out the orders of the Selectmen.

The Selectmen meet bi-weekly on Thursday evenings at the Town Hall. During summer months the meetings usually are once a month.
