I reported to committee I retrieved from Ellsworth Auto, Ellsworth Giant Sub, Lamoine General Store and Town hall jugs and the total going into the bank was $119.01.

Marion turned in brick orders; amount was over $700.00 dollars.

We had at this time no further bills to approve and financial report was not available to review.

We went over plans for selling 50/50 raffles at the Fireman's supper on October 18, 2008 held at the Lamoine School . Jo, Jay and I will be there at 430pm to set up and start selling. I have taken in over $342.00 to date.

Stu has sold a few dvd's of Dedication of Memorial, and we will be selling and taking orders for more on voting day. Jay, Marion and I will take turns at town hall with brick order forms and future request of dvd's. I will ask Stu to have at least 20 dvd's ready.

I presented to committee several items available to go into the souvenir booklet, nothing was decided at this point other than more would be needed for booklet to present to public for sale. Reggie will contact Galen Cole and wanted copies of what we had so far for presentation to him. He will also contact local contractors and businesses for donations to our Memorial.

We discussed again, some form of curbing or granite stops at the front of the Memorial.

Concrete curbing was voted on 6-0 to use. Someone has already backed up to the bench.

Tire tracks were visible on new grass after Dedication on September 13, 2008 . Jo will present to Selectman at their next meeting for approval.

Future fund raisers were discussed, we decided on a supper May 2, 2009 . Jo had a discussion with Karen Richter about the X-mas wreaths sale. Jo asked me to follow up with Karen to maybe have ready on Voting day. Marion and Walt will check with Newland Nursery and asking for a $1.00 per tree at their X-mas tree sale. Marion will check with local VFW's and American Legion from our prior discussion of their involvement with us on funding.

I reported Lauri from Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, donated 2 wreaths stands and asked we send a thank you. Jo asked me to send.

No grant writing has been done at yet. We have not heard from Wal-mart on donation.

Next meeting scheduled for November 19, 2008 .

Respectfully submitted,

Kathleen De Fusco, Sec'y
