Engine 401

This is our lead pumper, a 1995 International with a 1,250 Gallons Per Minute pump, foam, and 1,000 gallons of water on board. It carries rescue equipment, air packs, and ladders along with several hundred feet of attack and supply hose.

Tanker 404

The tanker truck is a 1989 International which carries 1,800 gallons of water with a 450 GPM pump. It is used in tandem with the lead pumper to supply water to working fires. On board are two folding tanks capable of holding a total of 3,000 gallons of water.

Rescue 403

The newest pumper/rescue truck in the LVFD fleet is a 2005 International Chassis and MetalFab body featuring a 750 gallon tank with a 1,250 GPM pump. There is a great deal of space for this truck to carry all of the LVFD rescue gear including the Homatro Rescue Tool, generators, sump pumps, medical equipment, an AED (defibrillator) and oil spill materials. The truck went into service in March 2005.

Truck 405

The newest truck in the LVFD fleet is a 2009 Ford F550 chassis with a custom built body designed for rapid response and wildland fires. It features a compressed air foam pump and 300-gallon water tank, plenty of storage for water rescue gear, and traffic control devices. It will haul the department's rescue boat and serve as a command post on most incidents.
