Dear Friends and Fellow Firefighters,
Hello and Happy New Year! For many people the New Year brings resolutions and goals. For 2008, the Lamoine Volunteer Fire Department has set a lofty goal – to raise the funds to update and replace our air packs. We all know fundraising includes work, but who says that it shouldn't be FUN?
We are writing to invite you to the ‘hottest' fundraising event of 2008 - The First Annual Hancock County Fireball! Join our department for a night of FUN including dancing with music by DJ Bill DaButler, fabulous raffles, FREE munchies, a cash bar and the crowning of the King and Queen of the Ball!
We will ONLY be selling Pre-Sale tickets. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door so save this date and reserve your tickets now! The Fireball extravaganza will be held on Saturday, March 8 th at the Ellsworth Holiday Inn, from 8pm ‘til midnight. Tickets are only $20 a person and $30 for a couple. Or you can reserve a table for 8 for just $115! If you want to party into the late hours of the night, the Holiday Inn will have special room rates available to us! To take advantage of the room package, please let us know ahead of time so we can book your room.
“Class A” uniform or Semiformal attire suggested but not required. We do ask however, that you dress to represent your department.
