Lamoine Fire Call - January 18, 2006

Lamoine VFD was called to Lamoine Beach Road approximately 500-feet east of Googins Lane for a tree over the road. The tree broke electricity lines and came to rest on CTV and telephone wires. Firefighters blocked the road until Bangor Hydro arrived approximately 3 hours later and safely removed the tree and repaired the lines. Wind gusts in excess of 60mph are blamed for the incident.
