Blunt's Pond Stocked with Trout

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife has placed 150 Brook Trout into Blunt's Pond for the 2008 ice fishing season. This is the first time trout have been available in the pond. The fish were raised in a hatchery in Enfield and transported by truck to Lamoine where they were placed into the pond. State fishing regulations apply - the ice fishing season opens, conditions permitting, on January 1, 2008.
