Question 1 (Town meeting article 2)

Shall the town reconsider the following budget votes approved on March 9, 2005, and amend them as recommended by the Budget Committee:

A. Article 23 (Administration Budget). The Budget Committee recommends reconsideration of this vote, changing the amount to raise and appropriate to $131,196.76 and changing the salaries to the Selectmen to $100 each for all Selectmen. This represents a cut of $8,150 from the amount approved at the March 9, 2005 Town Meeting in the administration budget as follows:

Selectmen Pay, $5,100

Travel/Education, $600

Office Supplies, $500

Miscellaneous, $300

Tax Bills, $100

Legal Fees, $550

Addition to Insurance Deductible Fund $1,000

B. Article 26 (Social Service Agency Budget). The Budget Committee recommends reconsideration of this vote, changing the amount to raise and appropriate to $12 as outlined below:

This represents a cut of $5,988 from the amount approved at the March 9, 2005 Town Meeting.

Question 2 (Town Meeting Article 3)

“Shall the Town vote to appropriate an additional $6,000 for major road projects (paving Shore Road ) from the Local Road Fund for the FY 2005/06 Budget.” (The Selectmen recommend a yes vote)
