A public hearing will be held at the above time and location regarding two referendum questions to be voted upon by secret ballot on June 28, 2005 and posted with this notice. Question 1 is a measure to reconsider the municipal budget adopted at the Lamoine Town Meeting on March 9, 2005 subject to the limitations of LD-1 approved by the Maine Legislature. Question 2 is an article to appropriate additional funds from the road fund to cover the contract to pave Shore Road in FY 2006. Any registered voter may speak in regard to the questions on the ballot. Sample ballots are posted at the Lamoine Town Hall , the Lamoine Transfer Station and the Lamoine Consolidated School and on the town's website ( www.lamoine-me.gov ).
