Commercial Water Extraction Regulation Amendments

Home Occupation Amendments

The Lamoine Planning Board will hold an informational hearing on proposed changes to the Building and Land Use Ordinance to be presented to the Annual Town Meeting. The hearing will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Lamoine Town Hall. The changes include a series of proposed amendments dealing with water quality and quantity revisions and a separate series of amendments dealing with home occupations.

Any member of the public is welcome to speak in regard to the proposed amendments. This will be the final opportunity to suggest changes and corrections to the proposed amendments prior to final submission to the Board of Selectmen for inclusion on the April 2010 annual town meeting warrant.

Printed copies of the draft amendments are available at the Lamoine Town Office during regular business hours. Copies are also posted on the town's website (www.lamoine-me.gov ).
