	Board of Assessors Minutes - March 6, 2019

The meeting came to order at 8:10 AM.

Present were:  Assessors Terry Towne, Jane Fowler, Brian Thomas

Tree Growth Application – The Board approved, without objection, the draft of a letter to William Haass composed by Terry, requesting further information regarding his recent tree growth application.

Coleman Split – After discussion regarding Map 5 Lot 17, the board opted to table further discussion until after speaking with Maine Revenue Services property tax division.

Lot combination – Following a written request from Steve Callahan and Kathy Massimini, the board approved of combining Map 5 Lots 22-3 and 22-5 into a singly assessed lot.

Tree Growth to Open Space – After reviewing an application from Gerald and Iris Simon, the board approved changing the classification of Map 8 Lot 1 from Tree Growth to Open Space.

Tree Growth Application  - The Board reviewed an application from SWOAM (Map 5 Lot 16) for tree growth valuation.  Terry agreed to compose a letter requesting further information.

Gravel Operations Schedules – The Board prepared the annual gravel pit schedules for mailing.

Personal Property – The Board prepared the Personal Property valuation schedules for maligning.

Next Regular Meeting – The next regular meeting for the Board of Assessors will be April 3, 2019 at 8:00 AM.

Next Special Meeting – The board will meet at the town hall on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 8:00 AM to conduct property visits to take photos of new construction.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at approximately 11:00 AM.
