	Board of Assessors Minutes - May 9, 2019

The meeting came to order at 8:10 AM

Present were Assessors Jane Fowler, Terry Towne, Brian Thomas

Minutes – Terry moved to approve the minutes of April 3, 2019.  Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor 3-0.

Tree Growth Application – The Board reviewed new documents from William Haass in reference to certifying his Tree Growth plan.  A letter was composed to Mr. Hass with a copy of a letter from the Maine Forest Service dated July 3, 2018 included with their recommendations for Map 4 Lot 54.  Brian moved to approve Mr. Hass’s current Tree Growth program.  Terry 2^nd.  Vote in favor 3-0.

Tree Growth Application – Brian agreed to draft a letter to SWOAM regarding their recently submitted Tree Growth Application.  The letter will include comments from the Maine Forest Service, and an application to be signed by a forester.

Tree Growth Application – A Tree Growth application from Richard Davis dated December 31, 2017 was approved.  A letter and a copy of the plan will be sent.

Valuation Review – The Estate of Charles Major has requested that the properties it owns be reviewed for flood zone and resource protection zones in regard to their buildability.

Lot Split – Map 7 Lot 31-1.  The owner made an inquiry regarding separating the lots.  The Board will require dimensional requirements to separate.

There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 9:20 AM.
