	Board of Assessors Minutes - August 7, 2019

The meeting came to order at 8:00 AM at the Lamoine Town Hall

Present were: Jane Fowler, Brian Thomas, Terry Towne

Minutes- July 17, 2019 – The minutes of July 17, 2019 were approved without objection.

Abatements – Terry moved to approve an abatement for tax map 6 Lot 8(on) as the trailer was moved off the lot prior to April 1, 2019.  Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.

Terry moved to approve a homestead exemption abatement for Map 11 Lot 7 (Barnes) as the exemption had not been applied on April 1, 2019.  Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.

Supplemental Tax – Terry moved to issue a supplemental tax on Map 12 Lot 41 (Parkinson) as the board failed to remove the exemption following the previous owner’s death.   Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.

Next Meeting – The board will hold its next regular meeting on September 4, 2019 at 8:00 AM at the Lamoine Town Hall.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 AM.
