	Board of Assessors Minutes -January 15, 2020

The meeting came to order at 8:00 AM at the Lamoine Town Hall

Present were Assessors Jane Fowler, Terry Towne.  Assessor Brian Thomas was absent due to an illness.

Minutes – December 11, 2019 - Terry moved to approve, Jane 2^nd.  It was so voted.

Request of Susan Hibbs to combine Map 1 Lots 67 & 69.  – Terry moved to forward the request to Matt Caldwell for mapping verification. Jane 2^nd.  It was so voted. 

Court Case – Bolton v. Scarborough – The case discusses combining lots in a subdivision.  Terry agreed to talk with Maine Municipal for clarification.

Valuation Error – Map 14 Lot 41 – The Assessors present signed an abatement for Catnip Island LLC to correct an error on the property card. 

Town Report – The assessors present approved the report to be printed in the annual report.

Next Meeting – The next meeting of the Board of Assessors is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 8:00 AM at the Town Hall

Quarterly Review – The Spring 2020 quarterly review will be done for maps 6, 7, 9, 10, 18 and 19.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:12 AM.
