	Board of Assessors Minutes - December 2, 2020

The meeting came to order at 8:00 AM.

Present were Assessors Terry Towne, Jane Fowler, Brian Thomas & Administrative Assistant Stu Marckoon

Minutes – The minutes of November 11, 2020 and July 8, 2020 were approved without objection.

Property Cards – The Board met with Administrative Assistant Stu Marckoon who reported he had converted Maps 1 through 3 into the new electronic format.  Brian volunteered to compare the new cards with the existing cards for accuracy.

Code Enforcement Inquiries – The Board reviewed the Code Enforcement Officer’s response to inquiries from the Board

Revaluation – There was discussion about including a revaluation in the 2021/22 fiscal year budget.  Administrative Assistant Marckoon reported he had included $110,000 in the budget for that purpose, funded from the reserve that was funded over the past 20-years or so.  Jane agreed she would contact Matt Caldwell and request to meet with Rob Duplisea.

Septic Matter – The Board reviewed the Code Enforcement Officer’s note regarding a septic system on Map 14 Lot 23 (57 Cove Road) and opted to take no action.

Map 7 Lot 3A – The Board reviewed a letter regarding Map 7 Lots 3A and 26 and took no action, determining that there is no authority to adjudicate the matter.

Next Meeting – The next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 8AM.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:50 AM.
