	Board of Assessors Minutes - June 2, 2021

The meeting came to order at the Lamoine Town Hall at 8:05 AM

Present were: Assessors Jane Fowler, Brian Thomas & Terry Towne

Minutes – May 5, 2021 – Terry moved to approve, Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.

Exemption Request – Maine Coast Heritage Trust – Brian moved to approve the request after a discussion.  Jane 2^nd.  Vote in favor was 2-0, Towne abstained, but did participate in a generic discussion of the applicability of tree growth and forest management plans to a tax-exempt organization.  He abstained from substantive discussion and voting.   Brian will follow up with Maine Revenue Service regarding tree growth status for Map 1 Lot 33-A.

The board reviewed the spring field work.

Next Meeting – The board will meet next on June 16, 2021 at 8AM.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 AM.
