	Board of Assessors Minutes - February 2, 2022

The meeting came to order at 8:00 AM.

Present were: Assessors Jane Fowler, Terry Towne, & Brian Thomas

Minutes – January 5, 2022 – Brian moved to approve the minutes.  Terry 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.

Abatement Application – Map 8 Lot 4-6 – The Board discussed the application from Rosemary Crane.  Terry moved to deny the request as it was not received within 185-days of the date of the 2021 tax commitment.  Brian 2^nd.  Vote in favor was unanimous.  Terry will prepare a letter for Ms. Crane.

Tax Card Corrections – The board received a running memorandum from Administrative Assistant Stu Marckoon regarding possible tax card errors found while inputting data.  The board agreed to send the list to RJD Appraisal for corrections.

Next Meeting – The Board will meet on March 2, 2022 to process the personal property list, gravel pit declarations, and review the past year’s building and plumbing permits.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:41 AM.
