	Parks Commission Minutes - September 14, 2020

Parks Chair Cathi Goebel called meeting to order at 6:05 .

Present: Commission members Cathi Goebel, Bob Ehlers, Georgianna Pulver. Maggie Andros tried to join on Zoom; due to Chair error, could not get in.

Minutes

Minutes from June 8 , 2020, were reviewed. As we did not have a quorum, we did not vote on approval.

Bloomfield Park Kiosk

Mike Jordan has been working on this; it is still at the Fire Station. The Fire Dept will transport it to Park when completed.

Marlboro Beach Kiosk

Cathi had drafted 3 posters on Publisher, but has not completed them. Group agrees to shoot for next Spring. Cathi may seek help with this at local high schools.

Lamoine  Community Walks

Parks hosted one from Lamoine Beach on Aug 15 and had 6 walkers. Our next walk in Saturday Sept 19. Cathi would like to schedule one in October, too.

Other business:

Lamoine 150 is hosting a scavenger hunt . They have asked us to place plaques at each of the 3 parks. Bob volunteered to do that this week.

Bob shared that more rope was down at Marlboro Beach and he will replace it this week.

The group discussed the bench at Marlboro and Bob proposed that we use an adhesive to keep the seat attached to the bases.
