Lamoine VFD was called to a home on Lamoine Beach Road for a flooded basement. Firefighters set up a sump pump and powered it with electricity generated from rescue pumper 403 to assist a pump that was already working in the basement. It took about half an hour to evacuate water which had risen to about 8-inches in the basement and was threatening the hot water heater.
