Rescue Call - June 7, 2008

Lamoine VFD was called to Bloomfield Park for a report of a young boy who's foot was lodged in the seat of a vehicle. On arrival, County Ambulance was already on scene and requesting help with removal. Extrication proved to be difficult, and the child's foot was eventually removed from a latch-hook that connects the seat top to the base without major injury. The child was taken to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
