Fire Call April 10, 2004

	Firefighters were called to the Lamoine Transfer station after someone dumped coals into one of the dumpsters. The transfer station attendant and a citizen emptied a fire extinguisher onto the burning dumpster and called the Fire Department.
Two fire trucks (Engines 401 and 404) arrived at the scene within 4-minutes of the call and used 146-gallons of water with foam to extinguish the fire. A total of 14 firefighters responded to the scene. There was no significant damage.
