Fire Call February 28, 2005

Although a very minor call in nature, the Lamoine Fire Department utilized the new rescue truck successfully at a traffic accident on February 28th. A vehicle operated by a Shore Road resident went off Jordan River Road after hitting an icy patch. County Ambulance requested traffic control. The new engine 403 is visible to the left behind the dump truck.
There were no serious injuries in the accident, and only minor damage to the vehicle. The Hancock County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Here, you can see the new truck just in front of the tow truck. Lt. Mike Jordan drove to the trucks maiden call and reported everything worked as planned.
