The Town of Lamoine has volunteer opportunities on town committees. The community relies on engaged citizens to help make Lamoine a great place to live, and the Select Board deeply values the service and insights that our volunteers provide.
- Recreation Committee One Full Member, One Alternate (3-year term)
Role: Support the planning and organization of recreational programs and events. Enthusiasm for community engagement and event planning is welcome.
General Qualifications for All Volunteer Positions
- Age and Residency: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and registered voters in the Town of Lamoine.
- Commitment: Members are expected to attend scheduled meetings and actively participate in committee activities.
- Expertise: No specific professional background is required; a willingness to learn, serve, and contribute to the community is the primary qualification.
