Administrative Assistant to the Select Board
The Administrative Assistant (sometimes referred to as the Town Administrator) is one of two full time employees of the Lamoine Town Office. Stu Marckoon has held this office since January 1993. The position also includes the titles of Treasurer, Deputy Clerk, Deputy Tax Collector, Local EMA Director, General Assistance Administrator, and Addressing Officer. The job, among other things, is to suggest policy to the Select Board, and to carry out the actions as directed by the Board, and to assist other town officials.
